Authentic LCD Flame Technology

The flame effects can be used independently of the heater, so you can enjoy the visual effect throughout the year.

IlluminOak Split-Oak Effect Logs

The IlluminOak fuel bed features realistic split-oak effect logs with internal lighting to create a glowing, natural-looking centrepiece.

Choose from eight log-lighting colours or spectrum mode to change the appearance of the fuel bed. Chromalight® Plus fuel-bed uplighting offers further colour options, while adjustable downlighting can be set to amber, white or off.

The fire also includes nine MyFlame presets, three of which can be customised and saved.

Up to 2kW of Thermostatic Heating

The Eclipse 65R provides up to 2kW of supplementary electric heat, with thermostatic temperature control to help maintain your chosen room temperature.

You can operate the fire with the flames and lighting on but the heater off. A fan-only mode is also available for gentle air circulation without heat.

Additional energy-management features include programmable daily and weekly schedules, Adaptive Start Control and open-window detection.

Remote, Touch-Panel and App Control

Operate the Eclipse 65R using its touch panel, supplied remote handset or the MUS Flame app on a compatible iOS or Android device.

These controls allow you to adjust the flame effects, lighting and heat settings to suit your room and preferences.

Installation and Frame Options

The Eclipse 65R is designed for installation into a suitably prepared recess, existing chimney opening or bespoke fireplace construction.

Its integrated frame can be configured in a three-sided or four-sided finish by removing the lower trim where appropriate. The appliance has a tapered firebox to support installation in suitable existing openings or purpose-built walls.

Overall dimensions with four-sided frame: 687mm wide × 478mm high × 272mm deep.

Visible dimensions with three-sided frame: approximately 687mm wide × 453mm high.

Warranty

The Onyx Eclipse 65R electric fire comes with a standard two-year manufacturer’s warranty. Eligible purchases through the Onyx Expert Retailer Network may qualify for an extended warranty of up to five years, subject to registration and the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.

The first two years provide cover for eligible material and manufacturing defects, including parts and labour. Years three to five provide parts-only cover. Consumable components are subject to separate warranty limitations.

To qualify for the extended warranty, the appliance must meet the manufacturer’s eligibility requirements and be registered within one month of installation. Installation must comply with the applicable Building Regulations and the manufacturer’s installation instructions.
