Its open-fronted design and realistic oak log-effect create a panoramic view of the flames, making it a distinctive centrepiece for contemporary homes.

With its suspended pendant appearance, the Onyx Orbit is particularly suited to open-plan living spaces and interiors where a conventional fireplace may not provide the desired impact. It can be installed beneath a flat ceiling or, with the appropriate adjustable bracket, a vaulted or angled ceiling.

Onyx Orbit Electric Fire: A Stunning 340° View

The Orbit’s defining feature is its suspended design. Once installed, the fire can rotate up to 340°, allowing you to adjust the viewing aspect to suit the room and seating arrangement.

The open-fronted bowl showcases a lifelike oak log-effect, while the exposed flame display creates a distinctive focal point. Its contemporary design works especially well in open living areas where the fire can be viewed from multiple positions.

Chromalight® Immersive LED Flame Effects

The Onyx Orbit uses Chromalight® Immersive LED technology to create a customisable fireside display.

You can personalise the appearance with:

• Three flame colour choices: amber, amber with a blue accent, and blue.
• Thirteen fuel-bed lighting colours plus spectrum mode.
• Integrated moodlighting with 13 colours plus spectrum mode.
• Adjustable brightness for flame effects, fuel-bed lighting and moodlighting.
• Realistic oak log-effect with complementary downlighting.

The flame display, fuel-bed lighting and heating can be controlled independently, allowing you to enjoy the visual effects with or without heat.

Thermostatic Heating and Remote Control

The Onyx Orbit has a heater rated at up to 1.5 kW and comes with a thermostatic eco handset. This lets you control the heating and visual settings conveniently from your seat.

Its energy-saving features help manage heating operation, including the ability to set heating on or off while enjoying the flame display independently.

The Orbit is Ecodesign compliant and is designed to offer the atmosphere of a contemporary fire without burning solid fuel.

Ceiling Installation Options

The Orbit is designed specifically for ceiling-hung installation. Available accessories allow the fire to suit different ceiling heights and angles.

• A bracket option is available for flat ceilings.
• A fully adjustable bracket option can accommodate vaulted or angled ceilings up to 60°.
• Flue-pipe sections are available in 0.8 m and 1.6 m lengths to suit varying ceiling heights.
• A joining connector is required when connecting flue-pipe sections together.

The installation must use the correct mounting assembly and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Confirm the ceiling construction, fixing requirements, dimensions, electrical provision and accessory selection with your installer before ordering.

Onyx Orbit Manufacturer’s Warranty

The Onyx Orbit Electric Fire is eligible for a five-year extended manufacturer warranty when purchased under the current warranty terms through an authorised stockist within the Onyx Expert Retailer Network.

To qualify, register the fire with Onyx within one month of the installation date. Under the current terms, the warranty provides parts and labour cover for the first two years, followed by parts-only cover from year two to year five. Consumable items and other exclusions are subject to the manufacturer’s conditions.

The extended warranty applies to eligible purchases under the terms effective from 1 February 2025. Earlier purchases may be covered by different terms. Please check the current warranty conditions and complete registration after installation.
